Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group (YACWAG) is a registered charity whose aims are to establish and maintain nature reserves in the North Somerset Parishes of Yatton and Congresbury for the benefit of the public, and to advance education in natural history and nature conservation.
Our strategy
• Raising community awareness and gaining support for nature conservation
• Taking action for the natural environment
• Ensuring nature conservation is built into local decision making
We are working to see more people engaged with nature through volunteering and/or gardening for wildlife.
We are working towards our local nature sites being positively managed, improved and extended wherever possible.
